At the Yankees game with Sean on one of the hottest days of the year. We drank cold beer and ate hotdogs and then left after the 6th inning because as Sean put it...the game was all stitched up. The Yanks won that night and when they did we were already home in the air conditioning.

Ok, I SWEAR this will be the last day I miss!!!!

I can't believe I didn't take a picture on August 2nd! Michelle invited us to a fantastic show that our friend Greg Shamie was in. It was called What The Thunder Said and it was performed in this old warehouse downtown. Amazing.

August 3, 2006...on our way to meet Sean's family in Maine. I like this picture on the plane. A little blurry, but says a lot.

Happy 101st Birthday Wilma!

This is Wilma...Sean's fantastic, spunky, and incredibly gorgeous grandma. We were extremely lucky to be able to share her 101st Birthday with her and the Sullivans. In honor of her many years on this earth, we toasted with Prosecco (which Wilma exclaimed felt alive when she drank it) dined on scrumptious halibut and shared a wonderful cake. Sean's mom wisely left off the other 98 candles, and Wilma blew out her token three with gusto.

A Maine Clambake at the Sullivans!

This was a GREAT night. Sean's parents, his sister and his (and now my) friends Lawrence and Megan enjoyed a delightful evening of steamers, lobster, an amazing corn dish (prepared by the resident gourmet chef, Heather) and flourless chocolate cake. The conversation was fantasic and the view to die for. Thanks again to the Sullivans for their wonderful hospitality!

I love this picture. On Sunday we joined Lawrence and Megan at the Sullivans cottage. (They were renting it for the week.) Before heading off to the beach, I snapped this shot. This cottage has been in the family for decades and every child who stays there measures his or her height on the doorway leading to the porch.

If you look closely at the very top, Sean's name is penciled in. He was quite tall in 1983, especially just being 12 years old. I like that Sean just happened to get in the pic in the background.

This was a very exciting night. We joined my friends Laura & Chris to attend an old friend's book reading. Robert Westfield who I met nearly 12 years ago just published his FIRST BOOK! His book is called Suspension and I JUST started it, but what I've read so far is fantastic. Check him out!

Congrats Robert!!!

Dinner of steak frites and red wine at L'Express with Sean's friend Larry. Larry and I hit it off immediately. Then we were off to the movie Talladega Nights which was suprisingly great!

Dinner at Planet Sushi. We got the boat.

This is Jennifer. For some reason we always get our hair cut...and colored on the same night at Salon West. It's always a great evening at the Salon. Wine, laughter, girls and lots of talk about boys and hair and life. Jennifer used to be "nature girl" as she says and never had her hair colored. After her first time of it though, the response was so fantastic that she now does it on a regular basis. You go girl!
